when the forest overtakes us

forest mist
reviving
lingering always
somewhere in our soul

tears of joy
out of nowhere
deepen us, and
drag us back
to the forest’s secrets

there we lose ourselves
only to find ourselves, again
wrapped in the mist
and nature’s arms.

    Just last week I tried to hide from myself…too much work and too little time. You know the drill, right? I should have tried the forest. After all, there nobody can tell the forest from the trees. (Smile)
