Love the trees
…for who they are
Love the flowers
…for they set us free
Love the birds nesting in treetops
…for they teach us to find home
in the higher part of ourselves
Love the sunset
…for reminding us life is a gift
we must give back
to keep it going

BTW– I really like the new pic at the top of your page. Nice!
Eleni, You have my permission. Hope your class goes well.
A student introduced me to your poetry as a final assignment Essay #3: they were to research via google contemporary poets who write about similar socio-economic issues as those of 84 yrs ago: the Market Crash of ’29. I’m planning on using your poetry for my 20th C US Literature class for this cycle: “When A Factory’s Life Ends” and “The Slow Economic Bleeding Takes Its Toll”
Thank You
Ah!
