Like me, do you wonder
about parallel universes?
Subtle places, inside us
not outside us
Yet, out of reach
with our hands, conscious thinking-minds
Deep pools for reflection
mirroring our thoughts, feelings, actions
in archetypal ways
Like an ocean’s bottom
is read by sonar
Some say, there is a rabbit hole
cutting through the universe
ignoring all space and time
Starting one moment before Genesis
ending one moment after Revelations
Seems more likely
this tunnel is inside us
connecting conscious and subconscious
Like you, I want to know…
whatever there is to know
about these places
how to get there
how to get out, once there
and back safe and sound
Does Continental Airlines fly there?

Thanks Pat, Rob, Zareba…appreciate your comments.
I’ve chased that rabbit for many years. Once, back in the late 60’s I thought I had it, but some big fat cat beat me to it. Excellent Don!!
Parallel universes….fascinating idea but pure speculation.
Hmmmmm….the closest I get is in meditation. I do believe there are myriad parallel universes but only one destination. My preference would be to fly Albatros Air. (s)
Floots: Thanks. Very sharp observation. One way, but the plane flies on and on, and on…
as you imply – would it be as tempting if they don’t do return tickets
(mind you – we’ve all got single fare on the current trip) 🙂
Dan: Thanks. You might be right about those air carriers. LOL.
Polona: Thanks. Yeah, a little humor is needed at times. How was your vacation?
thought-provoking and funny at the same time.
the last line made me laugh 🙂
I think either Southwest or Syrian Airlines…
