Tell Me One More Time

Tell me, one more time
I can’t fall in love with you
Let me, once again
Hold you like I do
Say you won’t forget me
and how we used to be
Tell me, one more time
I can’t fall in love with you.

So long ago, when we’d dance
our love seemed so true
Remember how we always were
you as me and me as you
In each other’s eyes
the world, grew and grew
Tell me, one more time
I can’t fall in love with you

Sometimes I think I can’t go on
knowing you are gone
The memories leave me empty
ain’t no life, without you
Give our love one last chance
that’s the least you can do
Tell me, just one more time
I can’t fall in love with you

  1. Aurora: Thanks. In high school only. But I’d like to write song lyrics. It’s always something I have wanted to do. I have many early poems aimed at song lyrics. Glad you are having fun.

  2. Aurora: Thanks. Do you really think so? You’ve been busy these days with your many publishing blogs and editing. Hope it’s fun.

  3. Thanks Gautami. Sing it in the streets!

Have you looked at self-publishing. Lulu.com and BookSurge.com are two good options.

  4. Singer/songwriter Don:

We’ve been on a nostalgia kick lately:

Nick Drake, Fred Neil, Tim Hardin…
    etc.

  5. It really works well as a song. I was singing it inside my head!

I have talked to a few Indian publishers. It is not encouraging at all. I don’t know how to go about it.
