To expand on your haiku in a wordy western way:
The rain when it falls doesn’t vex me,
Let me stumble and fall into graves;
The mists make me blind, it can’t trouble my mind
For I’m just walking on, walking on.
I swim in the water with serpents
And the salt gets into my hair,
I’m walking through Hell, Eldorado as well
And all seven seas have I fared.
Oh, sometimes a hummingbird’s beauty
And sometimes a journey through flames;
Yes I’ve died and been reincarnated
And from diamonds I’ve fashioned my dreams.
