Daily Mountains We Climb

tall mountains all about me
one, each day i climb

some stand for undying hope
others quiet desperation
each a promise, that
from my soul, i shall not hide

with each step, growing stronger
up tall mountains that i climb
circling some, worn trails upward
others, new paths yet to find

no fixed goal or final destination
steadfastly walking, in silent meditation
for there, with my soul i abide

  1. This is a very touching journey of climbing ..every mountain climb is a leaarning steps …

  2. this poem reminds me of that song that goes “ain’t no mountain high enough” another breath of fresh mountain air. thank you.

  3. Trinitystar: Thanks. The mountains help us, as do the rivers of love and change flowing through us, and as do the winds of time that blow through us.

  4. I like this one Don, yes, the mountains we climb. Many heh!

If only we could apply the simplicity to life are mountains would be much easier to climb. Effortless. In clarity we are able to see the crevices where we can lift our selves up.

    thank you for sharing.
